Ali is a trial attorney representing the best interests of clients in matters involving product liability, wrongful death, transportation and automobile litigation, personal injury and tort defense, construction defect, premises liability, first party insurance claims, and commercial litigation.

Ali also currently serves as President of Basketball Operations for Young Money APAA Sports, the sports agency founded by Grammy Award winning artist, Dwayne “Lil Wayne” Carter Jr. By analyzing the NBA Collective Bargaining Agreement, Salary Cap, and Analytics, Ali works every day to develop clever and unique opportunities for NCAA and professional athletes to exceed their earning potential, both on and off the court. During Ali’s time with the agency, they have had a top 5 pick in the NBA Draft and broken several records for contracts given to second-rounders. He has been involved in over $100 million dollars in negotiations and contracts executed. In 2023, Ali was awarded as the inaugural class of Conduct Detrimental: The Sports Law Intersection’s 10 under 10 Award recognizing ten individuals who are within ten (10) years of law school graduation and who have made exceptional contributions to the Sports Law space.

Prior to Walters Balido & Crain, Ali served as in-house counsel for a commercial real estate firm where he brings elite expertise and experience in a critical field that affects athletes and businesses. By understanding all aspects of a real estate investment, Ali is able to provide extensive advice as it pertains to commercial real estate representation, single asset acquisitions, portfolio acquisitions, recapitalizations, dispositions, developments, build-to-suits, third-party logistics, outside storage, and more.
