Background and Current Scope of Practice

Gabriela is a trial attorney who represents clients across a wide range of litigation matters, with a focus on personal injury, insurance defense, and wrongful death cases. She brings a strategic and results-driven approach to each matter, informed by experience on both the defense and prosecution sides of the courtroom.

Prior to entering private practice, Gabriela served as a misdemeanor and felony prosecutor with the Dallas County District Attorney’s Office, where she received specialized training and handled cases involving vehicular homicide–related offenses. Before law school, she worked as a Risk Manager for H-E-B, L.P., managing premises liability, subrogation, and work-injury claims from inception through litigation in both the Dallas and Houston markets.

Outside of her practice, Gabriela enjoys traveling and backpacking internationally, as well as camping at National Parks with her husband and their Great Dane.
