Ian is a civil litigator with experience across criminal defense, family law, contract disputes, probate, and civil litigation. He began his career at O’Connor & Thomas, P.C. in Iowa, where he argued before the Iowa Court of Appeals and secured an affirmance of a summary judgment win.

Ian brings a strong foundation in communication and practical problem‑solving, shaped by early work in research, hospitality, and sales. Clients and adjusters have consistently valued his ability to explain complex issues clearly and earn trust in high‑stakes situations.

A graduate of the University of Iowa College of Law, Ian is now preparing to join Walters, Balido & Crain LLP as an Associate Attorney, where he looks forward to focusing his practice on civil litigation and motor‑vehicle liability defense.

Outside of the office, Ian enjoys traveling, exercising, exploring the outdoors, and performing in community theater.
